Connie Myrick, Business Tech teacher at KHHS to attend the NBEA 2012 Annual Convention April 3-7, 2012, Boston, Massachusetts. Myrick will attend cutting edge, dynamic educational sessions.  She will also be involved in hands-on workshops that provide in-depth knowledge of new technologies.  Myrick will share her knowledge with all the other business technology teachers at the individual schools.

Amanda Brown, teacher at MHS Interior Design Academy, will take 5 students to the Savannah College of Arts and Design, February 18, 2012, in Savannah, Georgia.  The students will visit a reputable arts and design school for a tour and portfolio counseling.

Boston, Massachusetts trip will be paid from Industry Certification funds that the program earned and by law must be spent back on the program.

Savannah, Georgia trip is being paid by students.
